I'm a Colorado-based touring guitarist, composer, songwriter, and private instructor with 10 years of playing experience and 3 years of full-time teaching experience. I'm comfortable performing in a wide a variety of musical settings, across rock, jazz, indie, funk, and beyond and I have toured nationally multiple times as a sideman. I maintain a robust studio of students in Northern Colorado, having taught over 100 regular students since 2017 — specializing my instruction in guitar, songwriting, jazz and improvised music, as well as bass guitar/ukulele.  In addition to my work as a freelance musician, I perform in my songwriting project Warper as well as lead my own jazz trio. I have a great deal of studio experience and have written for multiple short films.

In 2013, I began my studies at the University of Northern Colorado with Steve Kovalcheck and completed my degree in Spring of 2017.  From 2016-2017, I  was a member of the University of Northern Colorado's premier Birdland Combo, the second highest small group in their world-class jazz studies program, as well as the guitarist in the 2017 Downbeat Award-winning Northern Colorado Voices ensemble. A Colorado native, I grew up in Longmont and began my jazz guitar studies with Eric Wiggs in Boulder starting in 2011. I live in Fort Collins with my girlfriend Allie and my dogs Zooey and Ira.
